Date(s) - 02/08//2018
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Western Science Center
From their Jurassic origins in Asia, horned dinosaurs fanned out across the northern hemisphere. When and how did the ancestors of Triceratops reach North America? Why don’t we find many horned dinosaurs east of the Mississippi? This talk will discuss some of the latest findings–and some fascinating surprises–in the study of horned dinosaur geography and evolution.
Andy Farke, Ph.D., is Augustyn Family Curator at the Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology in Claremont, California. He specializes in the study of horned dinosaurs, but has also worked on many other fossil organisms worldwide.
February 8 @ 6PM in the museum theater.
