Great Wonders: The Horned Dinosaurs
Millions of years ago, western North America trembled under the feet of herds of giant, horned plant-eaters. These were not bison or cattle, but ceratopsians, the horned dinosaurs. Decked out with horns, frills, and spikes, these spectacular dinosaurs certainly deserve the name given to one of their skeletons by a paleontologist in 1872: “great wonder”.
