Visiting the Inland Empire from out of town?  Looking for something to do after your WSC visit?  The Western Science Center is located very close to many other local attractions, from dining to entertainment to cultural opportunities to gaming.  Check them out to turn your WSC visit into a vacation!

Ramona Bowl – 5 mi., 11 min.

Built in 1922, the Ramona Bowl is home to Ramona, the longest running outdoor play and the official California state outdoor play.  Performances run April and May, visit the Ramona Bowl website for more details.

Soboba Casino - 11 mi., 25 min.

March Air Field – 5 mi., 11 min.

Military aviation fans can enjoy over 70 aircraft and 2000 artifacts from WWII, the Cold War, and beyond.  Features include some of the most iconic aircraft in history like the SR-71 Blackbird and the B-17 Flying Fortress.  The museum also is home to the National Distinguished Flying Cross Memorial and the War Dog Memorial, commemorating the contributions and sacrifices of our airmen and military service dogs. www.marchfield.org

Temecula – 25 mi., 35 min.

Orange Empire Railway Museum - 20 mi., 32 min.

Celebrate Southern California’s rich railway heritage.  Exhibits feature original railway buildings from 19th Century California, and locomotives and railway cars from different periods depicting Southern California’s development from frontier to urban center.  Visit on the weekend, when you can ride in authentic historic trains on the Museum Railway!  Visit the website for more information about railway schedules and special events.
